This past Saturday, Fryer and I went to log with my neighbor, Chris. We were about 4 logs into our work when the single yoke I was using broke. Fryer pulled a log that got caught between two trees on a "gee" turn and caused the yoke to snap. I have to admit, Fryer seemed very happy when I had to pack up and go home. ;-)
So, My good friend, Lester, hooked me up with a beam of red oak to take a stab at the makings of a new single yoke.
I got a good start today and will continue to take pics and videos as I progress though the project.
Hopefully I'll have great results by the time it's all said and done.
