Next week I will be taking a hoof trimming coarse in Baraboo, Wisconsin at the Dairyland Hoof Care Institute. I am so excited to learn all I can about Cow claws and I hope to try shoeing on my ox shoes and get some practice in on that to see if I can begin shoeing Breis and Fryer.
I will learn how to trim our milk cows and spot any disease and/or lesions that can cause lameness.
When I get back I look forward to sharing my experience.
I will miss the farm(milk cows) and the oxen.
